Five times Adin Ross made headlines in a single week

Starting off with the Hasan Piker and Mizkif controversy, Adin proposed a ban on the duo regarding Kick. After Twitch released its biased guidelines, many creators decided to shift to the newer streaming platform, leading the 22-year-old to make this announcement. He was not in favor of the aforementioned streamers as he shared a poor history with them. Adin’s statement made instant headlines as he then gave a green signal to Pokimane, informing her that the streaming platform’s doors were open for her.

Next up was his exclusive appearance at the NBA game between Miami Heat v/s Denver Nuggets. BruceDropEmOff, the recent signing of Kick also joined the parade as the trio’s pictures went viral on the internet. Fans speculated that Adin was passing on the ‘Kick’ message to Neymar, considering he streamed on Twitch. And with Drake featured on the platform, it felt that Neymar’s entry would be soon. Still, none of the parties have made any solid claims, so these speculations fly free.

On June 5, 2023, Twitch released a new set of guidelines and TOS, sparking a debate. Fans were disappointed in the platform as they had hoped for things to change. Instead, Twitch made it worse as they even called out a $25 fee for those who terminated the contract. Kick seized this opportunity and promised to waive the fee for creators who were ready to make the transition. They even brought out their wildcard on the court, Adin Ross, who’d joined Kick a few months back, and then spoke to many creators and pushed out clips, talking about the benefits of Kick.

Ross also proved all his haters wrong as he gave gifts worth half a million dollars to friends. Starting off with his bodyguard Ant, he handed over a Lamborghini Urus to the big man, bringing tears to his eyes. Then, he pulled out a Rolex for Raymond, a Tesla Model X for his videographer, $10,000+ to the actor, and more. The interesting part of his giving bit was meeting Ant’s mother and handing over $20,000. It was a gesture for bringing the man into his life, and he couldn’t have asked for more.
