Mr Beasts’s decision comes after Twitch recently made public its new sponsored content policies. Adin Ross, another content creator on YouTube, took the cue and reached out to the business tycoon with a collaboration proposal on the table.

Twitch recently announced its new branded content policy, and MrBeast didn’t hold back on his opinions about it. The popular content creator took to social media to express how the Amazon-owned platform is “handicapping” streamers’ revenue intentionally. The streamer community did not take the new policies lightly and many of them hinted at traversing new territories as a protest.

MrBeast vs. Twitch feud taking new directions

The new content moderation policies faced serious backlash from popular streamers including Ninja and Asmongold with many others planning to boycott the platform. Following this, Kick put up a post on Twitter, evidently over the moon, to announce MrBeast is following their social media handle.

MrBeast followed up on the tweet joking that he might stream on the up-and-coming streaming platform “just to protest” against the new branded content regulations of Twitch.

Twitch’s new plans seemed to get a more vivid reaction out of more popular or bigger streamers because of how sponsored content works. Despite the streaming community being divided regarding reactions to the plans, some of the biggest names in the game have slammed these new policies.
