Apart from him, it all became possible because of Sebastien Haller, Ajax’s star striker. The former West Ham player scored 46 goals in 59 appearances for his new franchise. Other players such as Jurien Timber, Ryan Gravenberch, and Lisandro Martinez stepped up their game, opening the gates of victory for their team.

AFC Ajax Twitter account handler posts one of the most clever memes!

Here’s the catch. Even though the football team won every fan’s heart, their Twitter admin took things to the next level. Last night before the finals, their admin uploaded a photo that read a famous saying from Grand Theft Auto. It was, “Ah sh*t, here we go again.” With that, they added Carl “CJ” Johnson, the popular character from the series walking towards the trophy. Witty right? Well, we’ve got some more for you.

The Eredivisie title seems to be pretty famous in Formula One world too. Now you may think, why. Don’t worry, because we’ve got you covered. In a Red Bull interview, when they were still teammates Daniel Ricciardo was questioned about Max Verstappen. The highlight of the interview was the time Daniel was asked about Max’s favorite football team.

The Red Bull star kept saying Ajax when the correct answer was PSV Eindhoven, the team that Ajax pipped in a hard-fought title battle this year. Daniel even said that Max has a tattoo over his body dedicated to the team but still could not get it right.

It just shows the fan-following the league has. Other than that, we’re sure last night wasn’t good for the 2021 Formula One champion as his favorite team finished second.

Future Plans!

Erik Ten Hag will step down from his managerial position at Ajax at the end of this season. The Dutch star will be joining Manchester United taking Pep Guardiola’s position. For now, we would like to congratulate him on his victory and wish him luck for the next season.
