God of War has always stuck to its original single protagonist Kratos, the Greek God of War. Across timelines, Kratos is found on a mission to achieve something he has been searching for. In the Ragnarok edition, he will continue his journey with Atreus to stop Ragnarok.

Is the God Of War Ragnarok really coming out this year?

Despite being available on Sony’s PlayStation, this game has made a good amount of revenue. Apart from that, Kratos has won the hearts of millions with his unique style. On April 20, the franchise posted an old 2018 tweet and added a short clip of Cory Barlog. “We haven’t said a lot about this. That’s because everybody is heads-down, hard at work. We are perfectionists. Everyone’s tightening up the graphics on level three. There is so much going on right now that I just wish that we could share with you, but it’s just not ready to be shown”.

Bruno Velazquez, the animation director at Santa Monica Studios, backed up this by saying that the game was coming out this year. The release of this game has been in talks for the past four years. But the constant delay has left all its fans frustrated. Here’s what fans had to say after Bruno’s tweet.

This fan truly believes that the company hears the fan’s requests.

This fan’s tweet proves his faith in the company’s developers.

The God Of War Ragnarok is indeed coming out in 2022, but when can we exactly expect it is still the burning question.
