One of the offbeat trends that has started to take over the internet is the NPC challenge. Multiple streamers like Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed have joined in on this trend.

While at the face of it, the trend may seem absurd to some fans, the reality behind this trend is shocking, to say the least. This trend has made multiple streamers thousands of dollars by just repeating it. And one of the people profiting from the trend is IShowSpeed.

Kai Cenat and IShowSpeed make huge profits from the NPC trend

IShowSpeed went live on TikTok to do the NPC trend. In this trend, people send paid stickers to the performer which the streamers give a predefined reaction to. The performers act like an NPC soundboard, repeating the same thing multiple times if the same sticker shows up. However, by doing this act Speed has reportedly earned between $25,000 to $30,000.

Speed acted like an NPC while pretending to walk on a spot, reacting to the donations given by the fans. The fans were also loving the streamer doing the viral trend and sent a lot of paid stickers on his TikTok live. While his actual earnings are still unknown, judging from the numerous stickers he got, $30,000 seems to be around that number.

The trend has gone viral thanks to the efforts of 19-year-old TikToker Pinkydoll. She started the trend which quickly gained traction online. And Kai Cenat along with IShowSpeed earning stacks of money is proof that the trend is engaging the fans too.

Looks like both members of the Kai N’ Speed show will continue to do this trend until it remains relevant.
