Usain Bolt once showed his love for gaming and considered the thought of becoming a streamer or eSports athlete

Bolt has been known for setting world records for 100m and 200m races. The name has been so renowned that reciting ‘Usain Bolt’ simply means ‘high speed’. And the man expected to be the world’s fastest man had once voiced his love for video games and also presented the thought of imagining himself as a streamer or eSports athlete.

A few years ago, Bolt was interviewed by the media organization BBC where he admitted that video games are a crucial part of his journey to becoming the athlete that he is today. To this, Bolt said, “Probably, probably. I think I was so much into video games when I was younger because sometimes I would skip training to go to the video games store to play video games. My coach would call my dad and tell him, ‘Listen, he didn’t come to training today,’ and then my dad would be like, ‘Why didn’t you go to training?’ and I had no answer, you know what I mean? So that was just one thing, I know if we had what we have now I would definitely be a gamer, for sure.”
