After Matchmaking Comes Back for Old Call of Duty Titles, Another Action-Packed Game’s Online Matchmaking Resurrects on Xbox

Xbox received immense appreciation after it decided to revive Call of Duty matchmaking. The first half of the ongoing year has been one golden run for the Microsoft console giant. The choices made by Microsoft for the platform have consecutively impressed gaming fans. After the makers fixed the multiplayer issues on Call of Duty titles for the Xbox consoles, fans had their demands of other matchmaking fixed ready.

Ever since the company received an exceptional response to the CoD fixation, fans speculated some more multiplayer revivals be imminent. Well, it seems like another wish is granted. According to the latest piece of news, Xbox is ready to fix the functional online matchmaking for the Gears of War Trilogy. 

Gears of War Trilogy Finally Has Functional Multiplayer Again For Xbox

The latest reports suggest that the original Gears of War Trilogy multiplayer are working once again. The match finder for Gears of War 1 is now back online, as well as recent fixes for matchmaking in Gears of War 3. This could also mean that the franchise has gone back to its dedicated servers. The servers for the third edition of the series were fixed by June 14th. But after fixing the original debut, the series is set to mark its multiplayer gameplay dominance at Xbox. A user shared the exciting news on Twitter.

Gets of War game series is an Epic games creation owned by Xbox Games Studios. The original series marked its debut in November 2006. Based on an interesting concept of a conflict between humanity and humanoids, the third-person shooter game series was considered one of the most engaging titles of the time. Although over the years the matchmaking features couldn’t keep up with the strong evolution of gaming. The gamers had constant complaints about the issues the multiplayer feature faced depleting the overall gameplay experience. But now with another smart move, Xbox has the series to the rescue. 

The gamers were thrilled as the news went viral on social media. There’s already so much Xbox has contributed in the first half for fan wish lists yet fans anticipate a higher second half. Considering the blueprints Xbox has laid to dominate the console rivalry, the speculations seem like a real possibility.
