The Super Mario Bros. movie was a massive success. It broke box office numbers and emerged as one of the best video game adaptations ever. One monumental contributing factor to this skyrocketed success is its actors. Among them, Jack Black who portrays the antagonist, was a treat to watch. Bowser, voiced by the 53-year-old, was loved by the fans.
The popularity of the ‘Peaches’ song which was sung by the veteran actor too became a massive success like the film. Now, that boom has pushed the actor to sing yet another video game-oriented song, and it is quite the watch.

Songs always add that extra spice which inadvertently becomes a supporting pillar for movies. ‘The See You Again ‘song that was featured in Furious 7 is a prime example of this. But, what Super Mario Bros. fans did not expect in the movie was a song by the villain himself. Bowser playing the piano and reminiscing about Peaches was a treat that we didn’t know we needed. Jack Black now is again back to singing through a song titled ‘Tenacious D – Video Games’.

The one-and-a-half-minute-long video features an animated Jack Black who sings about how he ‘never plays video games’. The song follows a different track than this line, that is, though the singer talks about how he never plays video games, he actually is pointing out how games are more than what meets the eye. He points out fan-favorite titles like God of War and Fallout 4 in the song.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is yet another title that was featured. The singer stated in the song that Red Dead Redemption is an incredible journey that takes players through old American history. But, the most interesting aspect of the song was during its closing moments. Jack Black a.k.a the voice of Bowser was seen as Mario! That’s right, we saw him portraying both Bowser and his arch-rival Mario now. This was a hilarious turn of events, which was quite unique.
The video was created by Tenacious D band, which if you don’t know is a group that consists of Jack Black and Kyle Gass.
