And the according to Nicehash the hashrate of the Nvidia RTX 4090 will be similar to or slightly higher than the RTX 3090 Ti on the memory-intensive algorithms. This means around 140MH/s on the ETChash algorithm.

This upgrade can be very advantageous for Blockchain Miners. They can implore the performance of their farms with RTX 4090. And as these mining farms only need the GPU in an open rig, the size of the system matters little to nothing. This could be the reason why Nvidia decided to focus on performance and speed rather than the size of its product.

When is the RTX 4090 releasing?

The Nvidia RTX 4090 is announced to be released on October 12 which is just around the corner. Compared to its predecessor 3090, it has 60% more cores and almost double the clock speed. Yet the memory clocks and specifications are not that much higher compared to RTX 3090. Both of the cards use GDDRX6 memory. Note that RTX 4090’s TDP is about 30% higher compared to RTX 3090.
