Now, the hero we need has claimed that he’s working on a new Starfield HD Reworked mod and we expect some concrete news soon.

If the news is indeed true, then Starfield fans can rest assured that Bethesda’s seminal title will definitely look much better than it does right now. With many players complaining about the outpost-making mechanism being too restrictive, maybe this mod will make players appreciate Starfield’s expansive world a bit more.

Is a Starfield HD Reworked mod coming soon?

Most of today’s AAA titles come with breathtaking visuals and environments. However, apart from only a handful of games, almost all games lack something or the other in terms of in-game biomes. This particular mod was so well received that devs CD Projekt Red decided to include one version of it for the 2022 re-release.

Hogan’s Starfield HD project has been teased off by a YouTube video highlighting the possible upgrades to grace the game. Since its release, viewers have been left stunned by the graphics fidelity enhancements in the Bethesda game.

While the modder continues his work to enhance The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077 visuals even further, he shared a message in the comments of the video indicating the Starfield HD Reworked patch may be available soon.

Starfield mod will enhance visuals significantly

Bethesda‘s newest IP in over two decades already has reached the 6 million player mark. This makes Starfield the biggest release by the devs. While there are plenty of mods dedicated to upgrading the visuals of the game, Halk Hogan’s HD Reworked project will undoubtedly be the one to look forward to.

A release date for the mod hasn’t yet been confirmed but we expect it to arrive sometime between November and December. It’s also possible that you might need a pretty beefy rig to make sure Starfield runs smoothly with the mod applied. So make sure you have the right hardware before you decide to get in on the fun.
