Streamers are becoming mainstream entertainers, as many of them have already been featured on a billboard in Times Square in New York City. Now the ‘Twitch Queen’ Pokimane has followed in the footsteps of her fellow streamers to make it to Times Square.

Imane Anys, better known as Pokimane, is one of the elite streamers. The Moroccan-Canadian is known for her gaming and Just Chatting streams. She has over 9.3 million followers on the Amazon-owned platform, making her one of the most-prominent livestreaming superstars. Because of her popularity, she has now appeared on a prominent entertainment hub.

Pokimane shared a picture on her Twitter, where she appeared on a billboard at Times Square. The music-streaming platform Spotify arranged the billboard for the streamer. They advertised a music playlist dedicated to the Moroccan-Canadian Twitch streamer, composed of songs to her liking.

Poki isn’t the first to feature on a Times Square billboard. Before her, Ludwig Ahgren advertised his bidet, Valkyrae appeared on one because of becoming the face of the activewear company Gymshark, ‘Two Time’ DrDisrespect teased his game Deadrop, and ‘Ninja did his livestream.

But what makes Pokimane’s one different is its vertical and long banner, while the other streamers had a horizontal banner. Further, Pokimane didn’t look any less than a pop star on the billboard that also showcased her name in bold. And it also showcases her playlist name, ‘Poki’s Picks.’

Undoubtedly, it was a major win for the Twitch streamer. She thanked Spotify for this Times Square appearance. Further, the Moroccan-Canadian used this opportunity to celebrate Morocco’s victory over Spain in the FIFA World Cup, as she tweeted, “Just another Moroccan W today.”
