After WWE Retirement, Should Triple H Pursue a God of War Role?

WWE star, Triple H recently announced his retirement from in-ring competition due to some health issues. One of the most popular and loved, WWE players Paul Levesque aka Triple H announced that he won’t be taking part in wrestling matches again.

The 52 years old wrestler is one of the most legendary stars in the wrestling world. Triple H began his wrestling career back in 1992 and since then has been in the top position with sheer determination and hard work.

But what are his plans after retirement? Interestingly, fans have compared him to Kratos and the upcoming TV series on Amazon Prime, whose cast hasn’t been announced yet. However, the legend himself hasn’t said anything about his future. With this, fans may have to wait a little longer to get an official update on what Triple H is planning to do after his retirement.

Triple H retires from WWE

During his interview with Stephen A. Smith on ESPN’s First Take, Triple H updated his fans about his health, raising major concerns. The WWE sensation suffered a serious cardiac issue back in September 2021 and now after 6 months, he finally decided to end his journey. Triple H also revealed how he struggled during those days when his lungs and arms were filled with fluid.

He notes, “For me, as far as in-ring, I’m done. I will never wrestle again. I have a defibrillator in my chest, which it’s not a good idea for me zapped on live TV. They followed up on it, did an EKG. Basically, the way your heart pumps out, it’s 55 to 65 percent of your injection fracture is a good number. I was at 30 [percent]. I had a quick text message saying, ‘Don’t take time, pack a bag, we’ll head to the emergency room.”

It makes you think differently about life. It doesn’t make you any less driven with the things you do, but it certainly makes you appreciate the things you have; your friends and your family,” he added.
