The art team took advantage of the liberties with the creation of Baghdad. The book “Baghdad During the Abbasid Caliphate” is one of the foremost resources for the upcoming title. The devs consulted the book extensively for every detail. Ancient descriptions by travelers as well as archeological findings: all contributed heavily to the design of the game. Dr. Glaire Anderson is also part of the developer team to give insights on how the city looked during the Caliphate times.

Apart from the fortress Alamut, there will be four regions in Baghdad that players can explore in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The regions are called Karkh, Round City, Abassiyah, and Harbiyah. The city will have some magnificent buildings and eye-catching architecture.
