Recreating iconic moments from previous titles in newly released games has a separate fan base. There are players who spend hours trying to land the perfect shot that became a signature moment in a previous title of the franchise. With the rolling out of CoD: Modern Warfare 3, the trend has been kept alive by streamers and content creators. One such clip has recently been shared by FaZe Clan member FaZeBlaze that might be the first-ever recreation of the crane trickshot from the Highrise map.

The clip shows the gameplay of 1337Gray, who is a regular content creator of CoD titles. In the short clip, we see Gray engaged in a Team Deathmatch round in Highrise. During the match, the gamer can be seen scaling a crane. The intentions are pretty obvious from the get-go for long-time CoD fans. Upon reaching the top of the crane, Gray gives a quick look around to spot enemies in range to try his hand with the trickshot.

He marks his opponent and spins on his heels two times (like the trickshot calls for). Then, just as he leaps off the crane, Gray lands the perfect shot that wins him and his squad the round.

Fans can’t hold back on their awed expressions

Since the clip got shared by FaZeBlaze, fans have taken up the opportunity to reminisce over how the trickshot brought back tons of memories for them. Like every other iconic moment from the franchise, the particular shot has its own set of fans who are gushing over the perfection of the shot.

For Jay, this shot is the one shot to rule them all. For the fan, this is the epitome of what the franchise stands for.

Jimmy, another fan, is rushed by a sea of sentimentality after seeing the shot.

While trickshots can get clunky and hard to follow, this clip does manage to pull things off rather effortlessly. Another fan believes this is the cleanest shot they’ve seen in a while.

Murphy thinks this is the precise moment when one should call for their mom to get the camera to make sure that a moment is forever preserved.
