Darren Watkins Jr aka IShowSpeed is known for his extravagant, hot-headed, and highly eccentric personality. He does all kinds of wacky and crazy things in videos. However, with all his shenanigans, fans couldn’t help but agree that Darren is a very talented young influencer.

At just the young age of 17, Speed has reached heights many can only dream of. Besides being a content creator, Speed is a musician and a quite capable dancer. So much so that he has even developed his own signature step. And according to some recent leaks, this iconic step by Darren can get into the missive emote library of Fortnite. 

Is IShowSpeed move coming to Fortnite? 

It may sound weird, but dancing is an integral part of the massive online multiplayer FPS game, Fortnite. It is one of the main attributes that gave the game a unique identity in the over-saturated genre of Battle Royale games. In previous years, this feature in the game has evolved a lot. Which had started as a silly way to taunt other players that got turned into a meme is now a serious aspect of the game.

The dance (emotes) library of Fortnite features a plethora of choices, including some iconic moves to steps from various memes. Based on the recently circulated leaks, it is expected that IShowSpeed’s dance step may also get added to this library.

On December 4, 2022, Fortnite insider Shiina posted a tweet from their official account. In this tweet, they revealed, “It looks like iShowSpeed *might* get his own emote??” following an unreleased in-game emote icon that vaguely resembles Darren’s signature step.

Fans were more than excited to see this reveal and the potential of getting their favorite streamer’s popular step made them elated. They shared memes and speculated, how Darren would react seeing this leak as the steamer is notorious for his loud screams in any slight exciting contents.
