Difficulty settings are a big deal for some gamers in survival horror games. Story

As the name here suggests, this mode would allow gamers to enjoy the story of this game. Just go through the game and enjoy some scares without worrying about being overwhelmed.

Balanced

Solving the mystery of Alan Wake 2 would now be mixed with challenging survival combat mechanics that would be nothing to scoff at. As with every survival horror game, the items would be in limited supply here.

Hard

Combat in this mode would be significantly more challenging. And supplies would be in very short supply. Players can expect to be very familiar with this game’s mechanics if they hope to complete the game in this mode.

It’s a matter of preference and time that one is willing to spend on this game. Time is always a deciding factor in the choice of difficulty for most players. But as mentioned above, Remedy has a little bit of everything for all kinds of players.
