The big update is here! Alan Wake 2 will have 2 DLC expansions in the coming months: Night Spring & The Lake House. Both of the expansions bring some new innovations to the survival-thriller without drifting away from the long-held focus on story-driven progress by the makers.
Night Springs
Night Springs’s expansion focuses on the concept of vision and dreams. Apparently, the focus will be on psychological and mystical world-building. Players will be able to play as several characters discover the incomprehensible in a number of stand-alone episodes of Night Springs, a fictitious television program based in the universe of Alan Wake.

The Lake House
According to the official source, “The Lake House is a mysterious facility situated on the shores of Cauldron Lake set up by an independent government organization to conduct secret research… until something goes wrong.”
The worlds of Saga Anderson and Alan Wake will once more clash as you visit the Lake House and go on two different adventures.

Release Schedule for the Lake House and Night Springs
The release blueprint of both the expansions hasn’t been revealed yet. Although Night Springs is currently in plans to be released in the window of May to June. But it might be subject to some schedule changes later on. However, for The Lake House, even an alleged window is unknown. Both the DLCs will be available as a paid expansion but for the players owning Alan Wake’s deluxe edition, the access will be free of cost.
Also, the sequel is set to have its first Game Plus mode in an upcoming update l. Although the schedule for the same hasn’t been unveiled, fans are looking forward to an imminent launch as it will unlock some new exciting challenges in the game.
