

Alan Wake is all set to make a comeback to the gaming scene. The game was first launched solely on the Xbox 360 in 2010, following which it was ported to PC. Sam Lake, the owner of Remedy Entertainment (the developing company behind the game), confirmed that Alan Wake Remastered is nearing completion. While we don’t have a release date yet, there are still numerous details shared by the developers regarding the game.

In an Open Letter to fans, Sam Lake shared various details concerning the upcoming Alan Wake Remastered title. He said, ” Alan Wake Remastered is the original experience you fell in love with all those years ago. We did not want to change that. But the visuals all around, including the character model of Alan Wake himself and the cinematics, have been updated and improved with some choice next-generation upgrades.”

This indicates that the new game will follow the same storyline as before but will include some next-generation upgrades. It will include the character model of Alan Wake as well as the cinematics. Sam also mentioned that he will be partnering with the Epic Games publishing division to deliver Alan Wake Remastered over PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series S/X, and the Epic Games Store on PC.

It will be the first time that Alan Wake will be made available to a PlayStation console. There have been store listing rumors which say that the upcoming could launch as soon as October 5. However, it is expected that the developers will confirm the launch date in the days to come.
