The current update 2.1 of Genshin Impact has brought forward a first-of-its-kind collaboration with Sony. Fans got to see PlayStation’s prominent title Horizons Zero Down doing a crossover with miHoYo’s Gacha title. This epic collaboration saw Aloy making her way into Tevyat as the bow-wielding 5-star Cryo character.

She is being rewarded to PlayStation users as a free character within update 2.1 with an exclusive event. Later on, Aloy will be added to everyone’s inventory via in-game mail. Generally, such characters are designed to have limited damage output, but Aloy is once again breaking that tradition.

Aloy is an incredibly strong character of Genshin Impact

Aloy offers great damage with her elemental skill and burst. She can toss several Cryo bombs on the grind that can generate a maximum of 4 stacks each time it deals damage. At the maximum 4-stack, Aloy achieves Cryo infusion, which will allow her to deal more Cryo damage with her basic attack.

Moreover, Aloy has a fantastic elemental burst that can deal a ton of damage without any problem. You can even spam this ability more often, as it does not require many energy particles. Her elemental skill serves as a battery that can generate energy particles constantly for her. These stacks can also be formed even when she is not on the field. You can quickly swap her in and out of the game, which roughly makes her a great damage dealer that does not need to be on the field always.

Aloy’s best weapon is undoubtedly her special bow predator that PlayStation users should use. This weapon is a PlayStation exclusive and won’t be available for other platforms. However, there are still a ton of great options in the game that players can choose from. Bows like Stringless, Amos Bow, and Skyward Harp. In case you are building her as a support type, then Sacrificial Bow is probably the best slot weapon.

Team building for Aloy is quite simple. If you are running a set of 4-piece Blizzard Stayer, then freeze reaction with Hydro would be the best bet. Xinqiu would make for a perfect partner that Aloy can use. In case of melt, you should pair her up with Xinaling as she will allow you to constantly dish out tons of damage.

Lastly, artifact sets can range from a 4-piece set of Noblesse oblige as it offers the much-needed damage boost with her ultimate, but the other option of Wandre’s Troupe can be great as well because it will amplify her physical damage.
