The First-Person Shooter is an absolute fan-favorite video game genre. However, recent years haven’t been kind to this genre, with failures like Battlefield 2042 and Call of Duty: Vanguard. So, Dr Disrespect took it into his hands to develop a mind-blowing FPS game.

Herschel Beahm is a famous video game streamer known by his internet alias Dr Disrespect. Beahm usually streams online multiplayer battle royale games like PlayerUnknown’s Battleground, Call of Duty: Warzone, Fortnite, and Valorant. Because of his popularity, Dr Disrespect bagged the “Streamer of the Year” award two times.

The 40-year-old mostly plays Warzone, and he has been very critical of the FPS games released recently. The disappointment led to Dr Disrespect starting his own studio, Midnight Society, to develop an excellent AAA first-person shooter. Recently, the YouTube streamer unveiled a few glimpses of his upcoming game.

Dr Disrespect answers a question every fan wanted to know about the game

When Dr Disrespect took it upon himself to develop the game, it was a surprise for everyone. Many even wondered what the “Two Time” has to do with video game development. However, the 40-year-old has previously worked as a floor designer for some Call of Duty games.

Recently, Beahm hosted a reveal event at the Faze Warehouse to unveil the first few glimpses of his FPS game, DeadDrop. Fans were thrilled to see them as Dr Disrespect was hyping the game a lot on his stream.

Video game enthusiast, Jake Lucky, also attended the event and asked Doc about the in-game audio quality of DeadDrop. In the past, Doc himself has complained a lot about poor in-game audio. So, there was no chance he would not take his game’s audio seriously. Dr Disrespect replied, “Let’s say we already fired six guys.” This was enough to convince his fans how serious he is about the game.

When will DeadDrop will release?

Dr Disrespect’s game is going to be an AAA game, and the work began in late 2021. It hasn’t been a year, but Doc has already unveiled a small glimpse of the game. Moreover, his fans with the game’s early access can try small chunks of it and give feedback to improve. So looking at the state, we can expect there is a long way and it won’t be coming out before late 2023.
