A big talking point about Starfield’s release is its exclusivity. With the release only on Xbox consoles and PC, a lot of gamers expressed discontent over the decision. However, since PlayStation also had its fair share of exclusives, fans understood the decision. However, it does not mean PlayStation fans could not jump on the Starfield hype train.

The console uses a white base with a variety of colors showing the take-off to the stars. Additionally, the controller also receives a special skin. The controller is what makes the custom build stand out. The detailing on the controller is incredible, with each of the buttons getting some sort of artwork around them.

Unfortunately, for PlayStation gamers, this seems as close as Starfield will get to coming on the PlayStation 5. Xbox made its intentions to retain Starfield as an Xbox exclusive quite clear.

While some fans did not love the design of the console, they could not stop singing praises about the controller. In addition to the finer details on the controller, the design incorporates the touchpad into the theme. The controller looks as if it is the control panel of a spaceship.

One fan felt if Microsoft never acquired Bethesda, we might have seen it. In an alternate universe, it could have been possible. Looks like this person is a fan of Miles Morales’ Spider-Man movie.

Gamers also felt the skin was a unique way of bringing gamers together. In a world where gamers find themselves divided by console exclusives, all fans want is the experience of a game. Whether it is the Spider-Man games or Starfield, exclusives continue to be a source of debate among gamers. This skin shatters these borders in the form of art.

Although the skin looks pretty good on the PlayStation, it seems all in vain. Microsoft’s intentions were quite clear. Their idea was to retain Starfield as an exclusive for the Xbox. As a result, the design remains only wishful thinking among fans. Perhaps they could find a skin on custom websites to deck out their PS5!
