Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons has a range of features that closely resemble natural phenomena and real-life activities. For instance, the game operates a system of fish, bugs, and deep-sea creatures that migrate in or out periodically.

April is a busy month in the world of New Horizons, with some notable events and changes occurring on the getaway islands. Along with that, players have a new batch of critters to catch this month.

As usual, the number of arriving creatures will vary according to the hemisphere amidst the change of seasons in the game. Players in the Northern Hemisphere can gladly look forward to plenty of arrivals this month. On the other hand, their Southern counterparts will only observe a handful of new critters on their islands.

We have listed all the new Animal Crossing bugs, fish, and sea creatures available in April for both hemispheres below. While veteran players might be familiar with most of the names, for others, it is a good opportunity to track and catch the ones they need.

It’s worth mentioning that donating the critters you catch to the Museum will help you complete their respective exhibits. Besides, they also contribute to filling out your NookPhone’s Critterpedia for unlocking golden tools. Keep your nets, fishing rods, and diving gear handy!
