Animal Crossing: New Horizons operates a system of fish, bugs, and deep-sea creatures that migrate in or out on a monthly basis. With March coming to a close, an assortment of critters will depart the islands in both hemispheres at the end of the month.

Luckily, for players in the Northern Hemisphere, a handful of critters will leave after this month. They won’t witness as many departures as the other half. On the other hand, a ton of critters will bid adieu to the Southern Hemisphere islands. Players here will observe a variety of bugs, fish, and deep-sea creatures taking their leave.

Since some of these critters will not return for quite some time, it’s always a good idea to catch them before they disappear. To help you track the ones you need, we have listed all the bugs, fish, and deep-sea creatures departing after March for both hemispheres below.

It is also important to donate the ones you catch to Blathers for completing the exhibits in your Museum. Besides, they also contribute to filling out your NookPhone’s Critterpedia for unlocking golden tools. Keep your bug nets, fishing rods, and diving gear handy!
