The 1.9.0 update is finally here in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The Bunny Day event ended with the recent update. The Bunny Day event was a very entertaining event, and it even offered users over 50 DIY recipes. It required a lot of participation from players to avail every single reward.

However, the new seasonal event, the Prom Season event, is the quite opposite of the Bunny Day event. In the new Prom Season event, you don’t need to take part to get every reward. Instead, you just need to buy it from Nook Stop and Able Sisters.

Prom Season event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Every seasonal event offers players tons of event-exclusive items and outfits, and the Prom season won’t be a disappointment as well. This seasonal event will last the entire month of April, so users can buy items till April 30. However, Nintendo didn’t turn it into a proper event, as prom is a western tradition that is not celebrated all over the world.

The developers let the players build their own dream Prom festival on their island with the help of amazing items. It would have been nice to see a proper seasonal event, but getting so many amazing items is a good trade after all. It is safe to assume that many users will try to hold an amazing Prom festival using their creativity.

During the Prom season, users can buy some amazing interior decorative items. Nintendo mostly focuses on exterior items in New Horizons, which help decorate the island along with the interior of the house. Players can buy decorative items from Nook Stop at the seasonal tab option. These items will contain:

Other than decorative items, the Prom season will contain tons of clothing items. All the clothing items will be available at Able Sisters and they will help you style your avatar personality. These items comprise a ballroom mask, elegant mask, prom crown, prom tiara, dance shoes, bubble skirt party dress, slip dress, sequin dress, and vibrant tuxedo. All these items will be available in a variety of colors and designs.
