Interestingly, many players also claim that Isabelle looks like a bag of bells from her appearance. Her head is also shaped similar to a bag of bells (hence, the pun on her English name – “Is-a-belle”), meaning “is a bell“. A few days back, one Reddit user shared an adorable clip of Isabelle stretching inside the Resident Services.

Surprisingly, the clip displayed the jiggling sound of bells whenever Isabelle was stretching. The user even said, “Isabelle jingles…? Has anyone else noticed this? Where is the bell?” To this one, ACNH fan replied, “It’s in her hair! On her red hair band Edit: you can’t see it in this video but it’s on the other side, you can see when she turns.”

Since there are several rumors about Isabelle hiding bells inside her ponytail, another Reddit user decided to portray Isabelle without her ponytail. Their fanart featured both Isabelle with and without a ponytail and shocked several Animal Crossing fans. One comment said,” How am I just now putting things together. the fact that her head is shaped like a bag of bells, her name is is-a-bell(e)… -_- TIL.”

Whereas, another comment read, “I never noticed that her head looked like a bag of bells, so you were ahead of me lol.” Last but not the least, another ACNH fan added, “How the FRICK am I just realizing her head is shaped like a bag of god damn bells.”
