Animal Crossing: New Horizons Fan Spots an Interesting Board at Starbucks Coffee

It is no wonder that Animal Crossing has become a global phenomenon, especially because of its wholesome gameplay and cute characters. People everywhere have started noticing its references and this Nintendo exclusive has become a pop-cultural icon in a short span of time.

The impact of this game can be felt even at local Starbucks as players find Animal Crossing references and signboards in these stores. This would indeed surprise any fan when they see a reference to their favorite game at their local coffee shop!

It must’ve been astonishing for the fan to walk into their local coffee shop and stumble upon a subtle reference to their favorite videogame. A user on Reddit had the staggering experience as seen from their post on the Animal Crossing subreddit. The post displayed an ACNH signboard with the brewster which said “Coffee is 200 bells a cup… Coo”.

For those who don’t know what Bells are, it is the in-game currency for Animal Crossing New Horizons. This is a direct reference to the Brewster Cafe, which is a cosy little spot for ACNH players and characters to hang out and have their favorite drinks. This coffee shop is located in the back left corner of the Museum Lobby, right next to the art gallery. Players, however, need to unlock this cafe by doing certain in-game tasks.

Besides a real imitation of the Brewster cafe, players have also created Starbucks in the game by turning their entire island into a cosy cafe. One player shared their creation on Reddit as well. Have a look at it down below.

This build was made using several custom patterns that the creator shared using creator code in the comments of the above post. Some of the custom designs for the build also require an online subscription to Nintendo’s services in order to access them. The player is yet to release a dream code for their island, but when they do, surely ACNH fans can have fun at this cosy little space!
