Animal Crossing: New Horizons is arguably the most successful title for the Animal Crossing franchise. Furthermore, with the release of the 2.0 update, several new users started their journey in New Horizons. Interestingly, Nintendo launched many new features, mechanics, and characters.

A Reddit user had to say farewell to their perfect island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

With the help of the 2.0 items, Nintendo helped users to trust their creativity and build their dream island. Not to mention, we have already seen many amazing creative themes such as Disney Island, Squid Game, Harry Potter, and much more. Indeed, creators don’t disappoint fans with their amazing creativity and hard work.

However, in order to move to the next project/theme, they have to rebuild their island again from scratch. Recently, a Reddit user gave their farewell to their Spooky theme island which shocked many users. Although they received applause in the comments for their skills, several users also questioned why they were erasing all their hard work.

One comment said, “Wow I wish I had this amount of skill in animal crossing my island looks like shit.” Whereas another comment related to the creator’s pain and said, “I feel your pain.” Unfortunately, one user questioned the creator’s skills and blamed them for using items from treasure islands.

To which they replied, “I’m resetting because I want this DA to live on forever and I’m ready for a new theme. I’m also a dirty cheater and go to treasure islands for DIYs and materials.”
