Animal Crossing: New Horizons is highly popular among gamers since its release two years back. This game franchise has a quite wholesome community which is active on social media platforms. However, the game hasn’t been receiving any major updates since 2021 and the fans are quite hopeless at this point.

The last major update that came was a content update with version 2.0 in October 2021, which included some amazing new items and features. The developers announced that version 2.0 would be the last free update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

However, now with new maintenance scheduled for ACNH on June 30th, the fans are getting false hope for an update to surface in the game.

As already established back in October, there will be no major content updates in the game anymore. Nintendo has been releasing new patches consistently for the game which would fix the gameplay experiences for the players.

While players still hope for content updates, Nintendo has not announced any major updates till now. Even when fans expected a major content update for ACNH‘s second anniversary, there was none. The anniversary cake like was released last year did not feature for the second year. Fans were triggered when Nintendo did not give any social media update or intimation regarding the second-anniversary update.
