BlueTwelve Studio developed this 2022 adventure game while Annapurna Interactive released it. The game revolves around a stray cat who fell into an enclosed city populated by robots and viruses. Alongside a drone companion, B-12, the cat looks for a way to the surface.

The game is unique, unlike most games these days. It doesn’t feature any strong villains or a complex story. Further, it also doesn’t have any cool-looking characters. Instead, it just has a simple story and a concept. Maybe this simplicity is what helped make its home in the hearts of fans.

Animal Crossing fan finds a unique resemblance to Stray

Aside from Stray, if any game made gamers feel heartwarming, it has to be Animal Crossing. The latest addition, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, is the finest of social simulation games. But the game’s popularity is because it allows players to explore their category.

Animal Crossing fans have come up with some mind-blowing crossovers, showing their wide range of creativity. A Reddit user, Solid-Description-55, recently found a mind-blowing resemblance between the two characters. He shared an image where he recreated Stray’s environment and placed the cat villager Merry in the setting.

But shockingly, the scene Solid-Description-55 created felt a lot like Stray. It wouldn’t be wrong to say that Merry shares some resemblance with the cat from Stray. Undoubtedly, it was a fantastic discovery. If the player or some other Animal Crossing fan could come up with an island similar to the Stray setting, it would likely be an absolute delight for fans.

It is great to see how everyone loves this 2022 game, Stray. Many fans even claimed that this game should not only contest for the Game of the Year award but also bag the title. They are confident it can even fight against the upcoming God of War: Ragnarok. It would be fascinating to see if Stray can beat the Santa Monica Studio-developed game.
