Time and again Animal Crossing New Horizons has proven itself to be one of the most creative games out there. The community has filled the entire subreddit of the game with amazing creative art pieces and elaborate designs for the island. This life simulation title allows the playerbase to explore their creativity immensely with the help of incredible customization options.

Gamers can freely design or decimate the island to come up with something better. However, this New Horizons player ran into a problem most gamers wouldn’t think was possible. Reddit user u/FluffyCreativeSoul19 managed to lock himself out of his own island in the most hilarious way imaginable. The 2.0 update has indeed flipped the game on its head, but this moment is definitely quite hysterical.

The community members had a lot to say in terms of the things he could have done. Calling the emergency services could have been avoided with a few tricks. The user could have jumped into the water and utilized a wetsuit to find a way on the island. Other members also suggested that terraforming your way into locked areas could have worked as well.

Animal Crossing New Horizons isn’t the same after update 2.0

The title is not the same after the update went live, in the first week of November. Nintendo rolled a roster of incredible changes to the game, revamping everything from the ground up. The community saw an armada of new features being rolled out, which now allows everyone to explore unknown mysterious islands every day.

Players are now able to cook new food items, much like other things that were built in the game. This feature also carries its own set of amazing DIY recipes, which can be sniped down from flying balloons.

The Japanese studio has dedicated an entire island to traveling vendors, who would often show up on your shores. Only this time, they will have a permanent home on Harv’s island. You can visit new vendors and pick up items that aren’t available on the mainland.
