Thus, in her latest video, Animal Crossing YouTuber, Consolecaito gives advice on how one should plan their island. Her primary focus is on the creation of a ‘mood board’. This is essentially just laying out all the elements that you wish to incorporate into your design. These items can be placed in any order and in any place on the mood board.

How to create a mood board in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

She also recommends utilizing custom designs from the Design Editor Pro app. However, she warns us to always place them down to see if the design and color are truly what we are looking for. In her own mood board, she includes a variety of blanket designs, a floral carpet, and even a unique 23 piece wooden pattern.

With autumn arriving soon in the Northern hemisphere, Caito picks a beautiful combination of yellow, white, and orange flowers. She even stresses how the yellow pansies are not something she would typically use but they fit the theme that she is going for. While the idea and concept of a mood board are simple, it provides tonnes of utility.
