Many Switch users were hoping to hear anything regarding Nintendo Switch Pro at E3 2021. However, they just faced disappointment and Nintendo announced nothing regarding the upcoming console. Everyone wants to play their favorite games like Legend of Zelda, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and many more in the higher graphics settings in the next-gen console if possible.
There are tons of rumors in the community that Nintendo will announce some news for the Switch Pro soon. In addition to that, the official Animal Crossing Twitter account is acting suspiciously recently. It is sharing a lot of screenshots giving hints towards an upcoming 4k resolution update for New Horizons and it will also involve the Nintendo Switch Pro.

A 4k update for Animal Crossing: New Horizons might be on the way
The rumors of Nintendo Switch Pro are all over the internet, and it will definitely provide amazing features. One of those would be 4k resolution for amazing gameplay quality. Animal Crossing Twitter recently shared a screenshot which is not different as it shares a lot of news to keep the community up to date.

However, the recent screenshot differs from other screenshots as they took it in 4k resolution. Usually, they share screenshots in 1080p which is the resolution of the current Switch. The screenshot was too clear and was filled with minor details. It’s very unusual to see so many minor details as Switch doesn’t support 4k resolution.
Nintendo is promoting New Horizons with false advertisements at the moment. This is mainly because newcomers will not see any such minor details in-game as showcased in these screenshots, resulting in disappointment.

It’s not the first time that Nintendo posted such 4k screenshots. Back in March it even shared two screenshots with the same resolutions. However, just in few minutes, they changed them to 1080p which was very weird for everyone. Moreover, it doesn’t seem like a mistake and seems more intentional, especially when they released this new screenshot.
Hence, there is a possibility that Nintendo might be planning a 4k resolution for ACNH for a long time. Surprisingly, the Japanese Twitter account for Animal Crossing still shares all these screenshots in 1080p. Why the American Twitter account is posting the same screenshots in 4k is still a mystery.
