Animal Crossing: New Horizons recently received its updated version 1.10.0a. While the intention of this update was to introduce the wedding season into the game, it has also given rise to multiple bugs.

Firstly, the number of players reporting villagers missing from their island has increased since the arrival of the update. Usually, there is one day during the week where a villager will visit the museum. However, this glitch makes it so that they completely disappear from the map.
YouTuber Crossing Channel displays this glitch in full effect. In the video below, Crossing Channel is looking for a villager named Renee. As you can see, she is not to be found in the museum, her house, or anywhere across the map. This is not the only glitch troubling Animal Crossing players currently.

Gulliver spawn glitch arises in Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Recently, the sailor bird Gulliver has been showing up on players’ islands. You must help Gulliver to track down communicator parts to help him rebuild his Nook Phone. The bird villager usually washes up on the shores of players’ islands. Thus, he is often found lying on the beach. However, following the latest update players have seen Gulliver spawning in the most random locations.
Crossing Channel showcases the villager on the peak of a cliff. This glitch has made it very difficult for players to track down the bird. Although these glitches may not be affecting everyone, it is certainly affecting a large part of the community. Nintendo will have to keep these bugs in mind when releasing its next update for New Horizons.

In addition to the wedding season, Animal Crossing will celebrate Children’s Day and Father’s Day during the month of June. These celebrations will include new items available in the Nook Shopping tab. Furthermore, in order to celebrate the Dragon Boat festival Nook Shopping “is offering some fun seasonal Dragon Boat Festival items from now through the 14th.”
