Upcoming February changes to look forward to in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

February month will introduce a lot of seasonal changes on players’ islands. First, Northern Hemisphere users will see the end of the winter season while Southern users will see the departure of summer from their islands. This means all the new seasonal crafting materials will also be available for newcomers soon.

From February 25, Young Spring Bamboo will begin spawning inside bamboo trees for Northern Hemisphere players. With the help of this upcoming seasonal crafting material, you can craft the Young Spring Bamboo furniture set. The set includes items like the Basket Pack, the Bamboo doll, and the Green leaf pile.

Unfortunately, Southern users won’t see any change regarding new seasonal materials. Moreover, the Summer Shells will continue to spawn until fall, which will start in March.

Change in Island Aesthetics in Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Nintendo likes to update users’ islands’ aesthetics with each new month. Therefore, players will also notice several changes on their island with the arrival of February. Interestingly, Northern Hemisphere players will have to say farewell to cold snow as it will gradually melt from their island. Not to mention, they will not see any changes regarding bushes with the next update.
