The game tasks the players with the mission to improve the island. Further, the game’s multiplayer allows players to visit other players’ islands.
Animal Crossing meets Stranger Things
The most famous series currently is the sci-fi horror drama Stranger Things on Netflix. There are four seasons of the show, with the recent one that came out this month. The show revolves around the fictional town of Hawkins, home to many supernatural events and a doorway to an alternate dimension called the Upside Down.

An Animal Crossing fan, Lex Play, created a crossover between the game and the world-famous Netflix series. Lex found unique similarities in her island’s villagers to the appearance of famous characters from Stranger Things.

She showcased the main Hawkins squad of Will, Steve, Lucas, Robin, Eleven, Nancy, Dustin, Max, and Mike. There were also other characters like Joyce, Inspector Hopper, Erica, Murray, and Dr. Alexei. Lex also had new characters from the latest season, like the fan-favorite Eddie and the main antagonist Vecna.
