Nintendo has finally rolled out the March update for Animal Crossing New Horizons. The update has revealed interesting Mario theme items, skins, and amazing decorative wall mural as a gift. Players can also find the special Girl’s day, or Hinamatsuri festival item as Hinaningyo dolls. They can purchase these decorative pieces from Nook Stop for 2560 coins. The developers have also revealed an exciting new fast travel mechanic with Mario’s Warp Pipes.

Now, more news from a prominent content creator confirms the addition of 76 new items along with Sanrio Villagers.

Sanrio Villagers and new content will keep Animal Crossing New Horizons fresh

According to the famous Animal Crossing YouTuber Mayor Mori, Nintendo will introduce over 70 new season items. Not only that, ACNH will finally introduce the cute Sanrio Villagers on the island once again. These villagers are Rilla, Marty, Chai, Atoll, Chelsea, and Toby. They are based on previous versions of Sanrio villagers that were once introduced to the title back in the day.

Exactly like other villagers, you can also invite these new Sanrio characters to settle on the island. Each villager will unlock their unique furniture and cosmetic items that you can purchase from Nook Stop Terminal or Nook Shopping app from the Nook Cell phone. The YouTuber also claims that Nintendo will add over 70 Sanrio items into the game. These items include 52 furniture items and 24 clothing items.

Some of these items will be based on previous Animal Crossing titles. Players will see an extensive range of Hello Kitty items like furniture, clothes, gear, bed, and outfits. Similarly, the items will also include Pom Pom Pudding items like chair, bed, rack, TV, food items, walls, floor and outfits. The massive range of items will also follow similar pattern but they will carry different themes. This includes Kiki and Lala, Cinema Roll, My Melody, Canopy Shogi, and plenty of others.

ACNH players will also be able to purchase the exclusive portrait items of each Sanrio character. This will easily push the grand total to beyond 80 new items once the update rolls out. This paves the way for exciting times with this epic March update.
