Tarantulas might be dangerous in the real world, but in Animal Crossing, they are just tiny insect-like creatures crawling around you. They might seem scary to some players, but in general, they look like small creatures minding their own business. However, what happens when you find two tarantulas hanging out together and you try to separate one of them?

Tarantulas are rather rare bugs in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and are only available in the evening hours between 7 pm and 4 am between the months of November to April. However, there is no guarantee that they will appear on the player’s island.

As you can see in the above video, when the player gets close and tries to catch the tarantula in front of them, the other tarantula comes at the player with speed. As weird or funny as it might seem, when a player gets close to a Tarantula in ACNH, they look at the player and raise their legs.

They even lunge and attack if players get closer or there is another tarantula next to the one they catch. Getting stung by tarantulas result in the players getting knocked out and these bugs fleeing.

Tarantulas are extremely rare and their value in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is quite high, with a selling price of 8000 bells. This makes them one of the most lucrative creatures in ACNH.
