What’s the next update coming to Animal Crossing New Horizons
Players have huge expectations from the next Animal Crossing update and assume that it will change the whole dynamics of New Horizons. However, the last three updates in the game were focused on seasonal events and items. Mostly, users have to come online to buy various items from Nook Stop.
Nintendo added no major content for the users worldwide. The updates were simply decent and the recent custom design feature really uplifted the community’s enjoyment. Players could buy some significant items from the store to decorate their island and their avatar.

Regardless, a major update with some great content is the community’s main demand. The summer wave one and two updates brought some pretty big changes. It introduced the concept of swim and dive; moreover, players could donate some stuff to the museum.

Nintendo plans on next update
Nintendo might bring some old characters back to New Horizons in the 2.0 update as a major content. The major candidates that might arrive could be Tortimer and Kapp’n. Tortimer was the old mayor of the island before Isabelle took over. On the other hand, Kapp’n is a very recognizable figure in the Animal Crossing community. He has helped several players by taking them to other islands on his raft since Animal Crossing originals.
