Apex Legends’ ‘Mr. CEO’ ImperialHal might be done with the game, and fans are worried for him.

The past few months have brought nothing but sadness to Apex Legends pros as they have been tired of the meta. Season after season, they complained about how the meta kept changing, making some characters overpowered compared to others. And with scrims, ALGS, and other tournaments around the corner, this has caused havoc. But it’s not that the devs did not take it into consideration, as they kept revamping the game whenever possible. Still, it did not prove satisfactory, now making one of the most important players of the game call quits.

Will TSM ImperialHal ever return to Apex Legends again?

With the massive frustration kicking in, Phillip Dosen, aka ImperialHal, posted a Tweet on his account. On April 25, he said, “I will be playing very little Apex going forward, I think I’m at an all-time low with my mental with having to deal with the state of Apex + performance is not helping either. Hope you guys understand.”

Hal’s Tweet came in right after he kept laying down issues in Apex Legends for weeks. He spoke about them during multiple Twitch streams and Tweets and hoped for better days to come. But well, it looked like the ball never landed in the CEO’s court, leading him to take a break. His breaking point chimed after Hal lost a couple of matches in Realm, the new competitive mode of Apex Legends.

Moreover, a clip also surfaced showcasing Hal with extreme rage as he was disappointed in his teammates not listening to his comms. This led to their team losing out on easy points, let alone ranking low on the table. Looking at Dosen’s frustration, the entire Apex community extended their support.
