Perhaps the most detrimental was the Heat Sheild audio bug that came to light in the Ring Fury mode. This glitch related to the Heat Sheild item affected many individuals by repeatedly generating loud audio that all players in the lobby could hear. Now that the devs have ironed it out, players won’t have to worry about encountering this audio bug.

In addition, the latest patch sees the removal of the Heat Sheild item from the crafting pool. Some bugs related to Loba’s tactical ability have also been fixed. This should be a well-received change, as it should address some inconsistencies when players teleport using her jump drive bracelet.

The Game director on Apex Legends, Chad Grenier, previewed a list of the contents in the incoming hotfix on Twitter. This list paints a clear picture of all the issues being addressed by the latest patch.

As a result, the team has resolved the missing textures on several event skins, alongside the bugged audio on Bangalore’s heirloom. This patch also contains several fixes for the Switch version of Apex Legends, which launched alongside the Chaos Theory event. Therefore, Nintendo Switch users can also look forward to a more seamless experience in the game.
