The latest trailer comes after the release of the “Stories from the Outlands – Northstar” video that showed the backstory and journey of the newest Legend, Valkyrie. We learned that Valkyrie is the daughter of the deceased Titanfall 2 antagonist Viper, and the cinematic short confirmed her inclusion into the Apex Games’ roster.

Today’s launch trailer previews Apex’s newest Legend in action. It also confirms the introduction of a long-awaited Arena mode to the Battle Royale game with Season 9.

The three-minute-long trailer cuts to the chase right from the start, encapsulating some of the best animation work by Respawn. We get to see Valkyrie soaring and maneuvering through the sky using her jetpack. That is before she wipes out the opposition with a cluster of missiles fired from her suit.

The Legacy launch trailer displays some of Valkyrie’s abilities up close. It seems fans can expect her to be a mobile Legend in a similar manner to Pathfinder, Octane, and Horizon. The abilities previewed in the video also seem to fall in line with her previously leaked abilities. Although, an official revelation of Valkyrie’s kit is due from Respawn in the coming days.
