Amouranth loses $2 million to a typo
In an absolutely wild turn of events, Amouranth revealed a recent blunder to her fanbase. It is common knowledge that the streamer is big on investing her money. The reasons range from lowering her federal income tax to simply generating passive income that could overtake her active one. However, the business mogul inside her didn’t foresee this unexpected development.
Kaitlyn Michelle Siragusa, better known as Amouranth, was moving money from a business account to one she uses to make investments when the unthinkable happened. She misplaced a whopping $2 million, all because of one annoying mistake all of us deal with on a regular basis.
Although, the consequences most people would face come nowhere near the magnitude of Kaitlyn’s mishap. It all happened because of a single typo during the process. She inadvertently put in a typo, which resulted in the bank redirecting her money to a random account instead of the intended recipient.
That unintentional mistake must have absolutely rocked a random person’s world for a while. It is a momentous feat just to earn that gargantuan amount in your lifetime, let alone lose it. Accordingly, the internet has had some wild reactions to the reveal.
