GTA 6 is probably the most anticipated game in the industry. Back in February 2022, Rockstar Officially confirmed that the next GTA title is in development. This news broke the internet as the studio worked on their most ambitious project ever. 

Recently there has been a rumor circulating from a reputed source close to the Rockstar Games. The source mentioned that players will be able to listen to episodes from the famous “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast while driving around on GTA 6.

Joe Rogan’s producer reaching out to Rockstar Games

Back in 2011, Joe Rogan’s producer Brian Redban tried reaching out to Rockstar Games via mail. He went on to post the email he sent them on his Twitter page on November 6, 2022, hoping to get more attention towards it on social media. 

Rockstar Games has a known history of collaborating with both celebrities and artists. Taking that into consideration, it’s no surprise that they might be interested in a GTA 6 collaboration with the famous podcaster Joe Rogan. The rumors speak of being able to stream real-time podcasts within Grand Theft Auto using the radio feature in the game. If this rumor is true, then it will be a huge step toward game development. 

Joe Rogan started his career as a UFC commentator and soon ventured into stand-up comedy. It was later when he started podcasting; he reached new levels of fame. Known as the most successful podcaster, Joe Rogan is today a social icon and an internet celebrity. Rogan is known to cover sensitive topics that often provoke the listeners to think and learn something new. He covers topics like current events, politics, philosophy, science, martial arts, and hobbies with the guests on his show.

Although we do not know if the collaboration is real or just a fan demand, we do know that Joe Rogan’s team has been serious about making this happen. Besides Rogan, there are rumors of other famous podcasts being added to the game. Though nothing is confirmed, it is advised to take all of this with a pinch of salt.

Introducing live podcast streams within a game is something we have never heard of before. If GTA 6 succeeds with this integration, it could open doors for more collaborations between popular media figures and game franchises.
