Amidst the creator monetization program announcement on Twitter, Minecraft speedrunner Dream has tried to reach out to Elon Musk.

For quite some time, Elon Musk has been trying to change things at the Twitter headquarters. He has implemented various strategies to improve business, let alone support the users and creators. However, the population has been greatly disappointed at his attempts, as they felt robbed. For instance, users complained about the verification status – now available for $8 per month. Previously, users could only get this badge with their exclusivity, allowing it to hold some importance. But well, it looked like Musk was not in favor as he changed the meta.

So, to come up with another idea, the CEO launched a monetization program for creators, where they could charge for their content. And yet again, it felt like Musk wasn’t listening as Dream, the avid Minecraft player, felt shadowed over his application status.

Will Elon Musk reply to Dream on Twitter?

On April 25, 2023, Twitter CEO Elon Musk uploaded a fresh post on his account. In that, he featured a new update for content creators and penned down all the information. He said, “Content creators may wish to enable subscriptions on this platform. Just tap on Monetization in settings.” To talk about it a little more, the feature was no stranger to the platform as Elon himself had over 24.7K subscribers on his account.

Looking at this, multiple creators celebrated this win in the comments section. However, there was one creator that explained his sorrows as he felt left out. Dream, the popular Minecraft speedrunner, replied to Elon’s thread, talking about his application. Apparently, Clay had applied to the program long back, but his request never came out of the archives. So, he wished the Twitter CEO to help him as he wanted to start something of his own.

This makes us wonder what kind of content Dream would set for his exclusive subscribers. Would it be some secret Minecraft tips or hacks, or maybe something entirely new? Well, that’s something that time will help us understand, but for now, it looks like he needs the main man’s help.

Last but not least, Twitter user Alex Cohen has decoded some numbers based on Elon Musk’s latest tweet. With 24.7k subscribers under his name, Alex believes the Twitter CEO to earn $1.2 million yearly as a passive income. In other words, Twitter’s website claims the cost of every subscription to be around $4.99 in the US. And after the deduction, users get $3.39.
