Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson is known to entertain the audience with his content videos and charitable deeds. In July 2022, MrBeast crossed the 100 million YouTube subscriber mark. Thus, he received the prestigious Red Diamond Play Button.

The Red Diamon Play Button is a spectacle in itself. But a creator wanted to gift Jimmy a customized 100 million subscriber Play Button. After his 3-D concept art for the model, MrBeast asked him to give it to him. Hence, started the journey of fulfilling Jimmy’s wish.

YouTuber brings to life a 100 million subscriber Play button for MrBeast

YouTuber Daniel Krafft is a content creator that has made customized Play buttons for Dude perfect and MrBeast. His quest started with making a 3-D art concept for the Play button having a face of a beast. But the project depended on two things. Firstly, the button should be stable enough to hold its own weight, and secondly, looks decent in real life.

Knowing his competition to be YouTube’s spectacular Play button, he amped up the level. He brought a bigger 3-D printer that used liquid resin instead of plastic. Inducing numerous ports to prevent the model from falling, the process took shape steadily. Moving on to phase two, the YouTuber started covering a part of the structure in silica sand as it was made of wax material that could leave no residue when burned.

The process was dangerous as the silica sand can cause an incurable disease. To put in the shiny and glossy red eyes on the beast model, he bought Baccarat bird figures which would be perfect for the model’s eye. With the help of Brent Stewart, a gem shop owner, the crystal were carved. More so, he used crystal resin to make the lightning bolts.

His working on the model during the holiday season left him alone to do all the work. But the will to gift MrBeast a customized Play Button was a driving force for him. After assembling the model, and getting it painted by Rick Macho and his colleagues, the model was ready. And surely, it seems to be a beauty on its own.
