The developers have constantly emphasized the realistic approach of Starfield toward its open world. The game’s detailing is credited to a lot of research and study. Moreover, the game does not take factual astronomy for granted and looks to imbibe it in the narrative of the game. As a result, science fiction looks like a promising and accurate representation of interstellar space. In their latest Instagram post, the developers shared a timeline of human civilization’s inception on various planets. The title predicts humans to have started a civilization on Mars by 2100.

As intriguing as the prediction sounds, it is in disagreement with the SpaceX chief. Elon Musk is an enthusiastic astronomical passenger himself and has always expressed his interest in going to Mars. In fact, the latter had a target year to achieve the feat. And it is not 2100. Almost a year back, a user asked the entrepreneur about his plans for Mars. “2029“, he had replied, making a bold prediction for the Mars human civilization. Here’s the Twitter thread from the interaction.
