The new installment is called “Assassin’s Creed Hexe” and it will be “a very different” type of Assassin’s Creed game compared to the previous titles according to the director, Marc-Alexis Cote. A Ubisoft recruiter has given us some hints about the theme and settings of the recent inclusion of the AC series.

Yara Tabbara Teases About “The Hexe”
In a recent LinkedIn post, Ubisoft Recruiter Yara Tabbara shared a job posting for a Groom Artist and a Senior Gameplay Animator. She has also mentioned that these roles will be exclusive to Hexe’s development.

In this post, Tabbara stated, “I can assure you that this game will leave a lasting mark on the French.” According to her, Ubisoft wants to hire for the following positions “In order to elevate the characters and creatures in AC Hexe to new levels.”

Every Other Details about the Assassin’s Creed Hexe
We first saw a glimpse of this new title in a 30-second teaser trailer at the Ubisoft Forward Showcase 2022. There’s no official confirmation yet, but it’s rumored that the game will be based in the devasting and crime-noir 16th century of Central Europe. About the teaser trailer, Cote has said that “can’t wait for our fans to tear apart that trailer and find out all its secrets.”

The team behind the highly acclaimed Valhalla, Ubisoft Montreal, is developing the newest installment of the Assassin’s Creed series. Adding to the excitement, Far Cry 2 and Watch Dogs: Legion famed Clint Hocking has been given the responsibility of being the Creative Director for this game.
