Alan Wake 2 will release next month and fans of the series can’t wait to see how the story unfolds. Sam Lake, director of the game, confirmed the title in 2021. The community has been following the game’s development closely ever since.
Now, in a YouTube podcast, Lake made an appearance to shed more light on the upcoming entry to the series. According to him, Alan Wake 2 will have the longest single-player campaign of any Remedy Entertainment title.

Alan Wake was a survival horror game that was released in 2012. The game’s unique take on horror and narration style were received well and the sequel aims to continue that legacy further. Director Sam Lake also recently revealed that the upcoming game was developed by a small group of designers, consisting of only 130 people. He also leaked that the original game’s opening lines were gifted by Stephen King.

So far, Control has been the longest single-player game by Remedy Entertainment. Sam Lake has propelled expectations for Alan Wake 2 significantly by revealing that Alan Wake 2’s story will be longer than even that.
