Now with recent news, it seems like fans might get a chance to revisit their G.I. Joe nostalgia again.

For every American, the GI Joe craze is something inevitable. Owned by the toy company Hasbro, GI Joe became a strict competitor of Barbie in the 1960s. Following this company’s success with the toy market, Hasbro ventured into media, and GI Joe became a blockbuster on the big screen as well.

Is a new GI Joe under process? 

The answer is Yes! The official website of Atomic Arcade Studio recently made an announcement on their upcoming GI Joe Snake game. Following the announcement, they shared details about their leadership collaboration with another popular studio Wizards of the Coast, North Carolina. Atomic Arcade confirmed that they have been working over the last year and a half in developing the initial stage of the game. Their statement assured that the game officially transitioned from its concept stage to pre-production of development.

This team’s confirmation seemed like they will likely focus on working fully on the pre-production to complete the game and move forward to its release-“We are incredibly proud and excited to share that we have officially moved out of our Concept phase and started the Pre-Production phase of development!” At this point, they would put all their efforts into ensuring gameplay technology, loops, mechanics, graphics, audio, and many other crucial aspects of the game. It seemed that the studio is pretty confident about their upcoming development.

Additionally, Atomic Arcade shared some titbits on their upcoming collaboration with the North Carolina team of Wizards of the West. It seemed that the former will likely build a physical studio in Raleigh. They also didn’t forget to thank Hasbro for their help in the game’s pre-production phase one.
