The long-awaited role-playing video game from Larian Studios, Baldur’s Gate III is finally here on Steam. This game’s crazy good gameplay narrative and interesting quests already secured a permanent position in fans’ hearts within two weeks of its launch. In fact, Baldur’s Gate 3 was showered with immense positive compliments from the players.

Furthermore, Steam’s report concluded that players covered ten million years of Baldur’s Gate 3 gameplay already, and that also within the weekend. Crazy right? Players’ journey to victory in Baldur’s Gate III

Set in the fictional land of Faerun, Baldur’s Gate III is a full-on experience for its players through its beautiful storytelling in the gameplay. However, the journey across multiple realms, Avernus and First of Nine Hells defeating parasites, illthid tadpoles, thank warriors, and their red dragons is quite a difficult task for players. Baldur’s Gate 3 ends with the protagonist player and their army defeating The Netherbrain.

Although Baldur’s Gate 3 has complicated gameplay, players confirmed that they can finish the main campaign mode in 39 hours. However, in case players wish to attempt all the side quests and rewards, then Baldur’s Gate III will require 84 hours for total completion. However, some players spoke about different timings as well. For example, player Paul Kelly completed the first act of BG3 in 24 hours. IGN’s How Long To Beat website started this pole, which brought the results about Baldur’s Gate III. 

Larian Studios’ expectations from fans 

Swen Vincke from Larian Studios earlier said that Baldur’s Gate 3 will take approx. 75 to 100 hours to finish the core narrative of the gameplay. IGN results were quite close to Swen Vincke’s expectations, who is the founder of Larian Studios. He mentioned that players opting for all the quests might take 150 hours to fully complete Baldur’s Gate III. Vincke expected that players need to go through replays for witnessing the 174 hours-long cinematic gameplay of BG3. What stroked the fans most is Vincke’s comment about the 17000 potential endings in Baldur’s Gate 3.

The detailed gameplay of Baldur’s Gate 3 offers players to engage uniquely through dialogues based on the character’s class and race. This means that each player will take different times to finish the game following their in-game activities. Sounds amazing right?
